Long abandonedby franktheyankComment: Nice framing and good eye on subject matter. What do you think if you deepened the color to bring out more red and blue? Good work! |

Hadleigh Castle (13th Century)by WarbyComment: Awesome! Great depth of color of sky and balance between gray-scale of structure and surrounding colors. The framing and perspective is ideal. Very nice work. |

Count the Yearsby Jackson_HComment: Great eye for subject matter and love the use of black and white. I am wondering what effect you would get by shifting the twisted area more left of right of photo center and changed the focus to the center of the spiral versus the front tip. Good work. |

Fort Pulaski ~ 1847by Ja-9Comment: Really like the lines, perspective and use of black and white. Did you consider under-exposing a bit to bring out the lines more? Nice photo! |

Ancient Beautyby hopefulcrafty1Comment: I like the simple elegance of the photo. The softness looks like a lack of focus. A sharper focus on the stone with softness on the band would be more dramatic. |

Ancient Beacon by P-A-U-LComment: Wow! From the framing to the sun rays to the splash of green in the foreground, very nicely done. Creative caption also. Nice work. |

katabori-netsukeby Dr.ConfuserComment: I think what makes this photo is the perspective and lighting. You were successful in taking a simple subject matter and making it a creative photo. Nice work! |

"Who're You Calling Ancient!?"by cynthiannComment: Great subject and capture of expression. There seems to be more clarity in the forehead lines and hair than the eyes. I am not sure this was intentional, or a consequence of lighting, but a bit more definition in the eyes would be nice. Good photo! |
