Country Walking Magazine by jonpinkComment: Only the flat lighting kept this out of my top 3 picks. It's just a little dreary- one ray of sunlight and you'd have a 10. Beautiful work! |

Carribean Travelby JPRComment: One of my top 3 picks (not saying which). The color looks a little oversaturated, particularly in the bricks. I wanna go... we don't even have daffodills yet! |

Architectureby dinnComment: One of my top 3 picks. Love the color and cloud detail -reminds me of Gordon's work (nice!). The purple fringing is unfortunate. Perhaps a higher f-stop might have solved it? |

Audobonby qnjtComment: One of the best bird shots in the flock. I'd flip the photo so the swan leads the reader into the magazine rather than back toward the spine (a minor point). |

Wine Spectatorby MWittComment: This would make a great ad for the wine. Love the color (although the background looks too good to be true). The second wine glass is unfortunate, and the primary glass should have some wine in it. Still one of my favorites. |

BBC Wildlifeby agwrightComment: Great subject, lousy light. The overcast light really flattens the contrast and color- perhaps you could have boosted the saturation in Photoshop? I prefer the tree on the right cropped out too (unless the red smudge on the tiger's chest is the blood of the last guy who criticized this shot, in which case nevermind). ;-b |

America's Zoos & Preservesby mirdonamyComment: This would be stronger with a much tighter crop and no background meerkat. Maybe you could have moved to the left to hide the other guy behind that 'termite mound?' |

Ducks Unlimitedby ddmckinney1954Comment: Funny capture. It's a shame the duck and water are both a drab brown. This one might actually benefit from B&W. |

Lighthouse Digestby browntComment: Quite a scene. A little washed out by the distance. I'd love to see this from the side, with the lighthouse framed by the sky. |
