3... 2... 1...by GeneralEComment: Very clever interpretation. The fuzzy hand on the left is distracting though, as is the red noise on the thumbnail. The image also should be rotated a bit to get that button squared up. |

fire waterby Ecce_SignumComment: The sharp edges and strong posterization looks like some heavy Photo retouching to me. The focus is soft, the reflection doesn't really add to the image, and the bottle isn't tilted quite enough to look intentional. I do like the concept, though. |

Firing Glassby jonpinkComment: Gorgeous. Very simple and eye-catching. Glass is a little off center, but still one of my favorites. |

Gas Fireby redmoonComment: Oooooh.... purty colors. I like the color and composition; don't care for the blown-out white spots and foreground focus. This is a tough one- technically flawed but visually appealing. |

Blazing Nebulaby marboComment: Uh, no. Ionized gas glowing from intense radiation does not constitute fire to me. A tighter crop could have hidden the severe vignetting around the edges, too. I will concede that this is a better deep sky photo than I've been able to muster, though. ;-) |

Fireby dustin03Comment: I like the blue glow on this one, and the forms are very sculptural. The small flame on the right helps to balance the composition, too. Given that this is on a liquid, I'd like to see more of the reflection below- maybe a vertical crop? Nice job. |

Get Outta My Face!!by ShelleyComment: Clearly one of the top shots this week. Too bad the lioness wasn't more confrontational (or at least facing him), but you don't have much control over that. ;-) |

Fire The Canonby xtwizxComment: Good choice for this challenge. Beautiful composition and lighting. The only things I can pick on are that the snow is obviously blown out and the cannon's shadow might have been more interesting at a later time of day (plus, you would have picked up shadows in the snow). Still, this is one of my top three picks. Nicely done! |
