As Long as I Have Youby SandyPComment: Purrfect! I expected a few moggies to be subjects of this challenge, just not kitties of this size. Really sweet moment enhanced beautifully with the technique. Bumped three numbers upon a second review: nine. Wishing you luck. |

Garfieldby mrbig65Comment: The cute kitty is just too dark; the background too harsh. So sorry, but a four from me. Do not be discouraged, I think this kitty would be a purrfect subject to continue to shoot and practice applying the Orton Effect. I'll bet in the right light you could get some beautiful golden radiance around him. S/he seems like a willing subject - have some fun with him. |

Path of Paradiseby Alex_PetriniComment: Most impressive. The radiance resulting from the technique is stunning. Bumped two numbers upon reviewing a second time. Eight from me. |

Consideringby MaryOComment: Personally, I thought this challenge would be purrfect for moggies, but the submissions seem sparse. The DoF on the eyes is so sharp (a good thing normally!) perhaps the technique did not apply consistently across the image. Still I like the "glowing" whiskers. Six from me.
I'll wager this beauty rules your household, yes? |

Mr Brown's Old Tractorby MondComment: Who would have thought that a tractor could be a suitable Orton Effect subject? The application of the technique looks good although since you were so bold in your subject selection, I think you could have been more bold in applying the technique. Nonetheless, it impressed me enough to rate it as an eight. Most unique. Good luck with it. |

Scotch. Neat.by giantmikeComment: The dapple is definitely present - just wish more of the glass could have been more in focus. My personal opinion, of course, good connection with the challenge but technically confused. Sorry - three from me. |
