The theme is spot on I would say, but... one still has to attempt to use some camera skills and obvious general knowledge. Firstly I feel that the image was taken at the wrong time of the day. Secondly the background is very busy and distracting. If you look at the white headstones, they are totally washed out and exceptionally bright. There are ways to work "in camera" to rid some of these issues.

Yip, it is a crooked tree, but there isn't much creativity and craftsmanship put into taking this photo. One still has to try and utilise as much camera skills as possible.

I love the way the crooked branch frames in the bird. I just feel that there is a lot of the image that could've been cropped out to get an even closer image of the bird with the crooked branch still in it. The bird in the image as a whole, is a little lost. The twig peeking in on the top of the image is a little distracting and could've been cropped out as I mentioned.
