What a nice idea for Mother's Day! You choice of subject and quality are good. Framing is well balanced on the frame. I would use noise reduction to smooth out the background noise a little bit. I think a little more contrast weould make this image even more vibrant. However, I would NOT use brightness/contrast adjustments for that. That is because increasing contrast would lose some of the flower's marvelous detail. Instead, in photoshop anyway, I would use "selective color" to deepen black more. This has the effect of increasing contrast without losing image detail. In any case this is a very nice image.

Looks like this might be a bit oversharpened, and the shadows in the background are a little distracting. The lighting seems a bit too bright on the nest, almost washing it out. Ignoring the technical nit-picks though, it is a great "memory" shot, if not as much an artistic one. These robins will have the most secure nest in the neighborhood.

In terms of simple technical competence this is wonderful. However, there's an element of meaningfulness that I look for in a shot, and I don't find much here - no great absorbtion in the light, and no great attraction in the image as a whole. Still a 6 though.
