What a wonderful shot. Would of been even better if you had cropped the top part.

Cheers,

Far too saturated and sharpened. Plus her composition is more interesting than yours.

Beautiful shot. Just a shame about the foreground being too dark

To all those commenting on the sharpness of the picture, I implore you to pay attention to the globe (the SUBJECT) and tell me what part of that they find soft-focused.

Your 'number 8' entry came in 8th and your 'number 4' entry came in 4th!
You should start composing Number 1s for every challenge!

=P

Great idea, btw.

I think you're getting a little too caught up in whole thing, boogie. Relax. We're not here to bastardize eachother's art based on a few nonsensical preliminary judgements. So what it doesn't meet the challenge; the picture is flawless, and is deserving of its ribbon place.

Cute.
Thanks for the chuckle.
Although not technically perfect, the humor justifies my high score for this shot.

Very nice image. The tree branches in the back kill the shot for me, however. The wires on their own would have made for a much stronger image, persnoifying both political/territorial borders as well as natural borders between the two blue tones. Although I would really like to see this image without the trees, I'm still rating it pretty high.

Very nice capture. I predict this to be in the top 10 for sure. Great lighting, focus, DOF, angle, just an all around great capture. One of my favorites in this challenge. ~10
