†by aznymComment: Good combination of negative space and framing to focus my eye on the windows. If not for the title, however, I don't know that I would have noticed the cross. In any case, very effective interpretation of the challenge, and I think the windows make a good framing subject. |

Triptychby pablotolaComment: I see the rule of thirds is a major influence on this photograph, and it works here. |

lunch is out thereby loudzgamerComment: Unless that box framed by the leaves at the bottom left is part of the shot, it should have been removed - I can't tell what it is. Otherwise, I like the framing done by the window and plants, but I would kind of like to see what the cat is looking at. If there was a bird or something in the shot I think it would make a little more sense. |

mug shotby whiteroomComment: Like a hall of mirrors, only without the mirrors. I like the effect, and that you've chosen an unconventional approach to this challenge. |

Ad ognuno il suo meritato riposo...by SharkComment: L'effetto di silouhette della gru è molto piacevole ed i colori bloccati fanno un buon contrasto. (The silouhette effect of the crane is very nice, and the colors captured make a good contrast.) 8 |

Sundew catches the sunby neehaiComment: Nice backlighting and macro-detail on the framing plant; I also really like the DOF making the sun defocused in favor of very sharp focus on the plant. 8 for now. |

Oriental Framingby eswikComment: There's a bit too much of the frame, and therefore not enough of the background here, IMO. I think if this were cropped tighter, perhaps cutting the left and right in to the circles next to the center squares would be the right correction. I do, however, appreciate what you're shooting, and I like the overall idea of the shot. |

Through the She-Oaksby marlinComment: I like that the folks on the beach have their own sort of sub-frame with that branch. Nicely captured. 7 |

Time Frameby longlivenyhcComment: This photo needs a bit of rotation, probably to make the pink building in the back (with the clock) straight vertically. The issue here is that the photo feels off-balance because nothing is level. I understand the brick wall being a bit crooked, and that works well here. But the subject (pink building) being tilted needs to be corrected. 6 |
