Thank God this won! I would have been so disappointed if it didn't. I thought it was Nazgul because I figured it was you in the photo. This is by far my favorite photo on DPC... possibly anywhere.

I think the one thing that strikes me odd about the picture is her smile... it seems that she is faking it.

Recognize her from the portrait challenge. Great use of desaturation. I can't really find any fault with this picture. There are a lot of great photos in this challenge and this is right up there with them. I hope you get atleast a top 10 with this... which would be quite an accomplishment in this free study. If this is your daughter/grandaughter I hope you have this up on your wall already. This would be my favorite phot if it wasn't for the one titled Ange. You still get a 10+ and a favorite from me.
