I have been looking at this image for 5 minutes and feel calmed. The way you have manipulated the light is difficult and required a great deal of patience during editing. The colors have drawn me in and I feel at peace. Your perspective is one of having rediscovered a beautiful and quiet place we all remember. This image is destined to become a painting.

Seascapes: The Wake and Ocean

This is very cool and very well done. At first, I'm looking at a the floor of a room and then I see the title and slowly the image transforms into an ocean. Very interesting indeed! ;-) Much like a chameleon. Yeah you got robbed but this is not a shot you look at for half a second and figure it out. It takes a few moments to "get it" and when you do, you feel like you are one of the few smart ones out there. ;-) Nice work!!

Gorgeous image Richard. I had to throw on a jacket just to look at it. I think the thing which impresses me most is how you managed to manipulate the image just enough to make it life like. Yes, thats exactly it ..... LIFE LIKE. I've been to many lakes just like this and feel the chill, smell the trees and fear the damn cold water!! ;-) Congrats on an epic win!
