Awesome shot, good PJ. The only prob I see is the central figure has his back to you, and that distracts me for some reason. 8 nards656

I think BW is appropriate here, but I don't understand what the mess is about. I suspect a strip mine or something, but I could be wrong. 6 nards656

One step to the left would have made this a whole point better for me. I think a polarizer would have helped to. While I'm sure the kids were out of your control, catching them in a more reverent moment would have improved the mood. 6 nards656

Good subject, but the flash leaves some things too bright and some too dark. I also think I would have cropped out some of the foreground clutter that doesn't add anything to the shot. 6 nards656

The outline of the LP disappears on my work monitor, which is reasonably calibrated but still a junky monitor. Everything else is pretty good except that the CD is kinda grainy, but I think that is ALL the monitor, and not your pic. I think this is a case of a tiny part of the pic being missing for a lot of people and thus they think it is badly composed. Of course, the other version would have had a lot more outline :-( nards656

A little glare, so softer light might have helped, but this is a good pic. 9 nards656

looks like you had a reflector on the left? I like this, but would have been even more amazed if you had gotten her hair lighted on the left with just one light source. Good pose for portraiture, too. 8 nards656
