These Martians get around, I have one of their probes in my kitchen.

I love the simplicity here, and the bachground is an inspiration..

There is just a little too much winter foliage which is rather distracting.

In the UK a fanny is on the opposite side to this image.....
However I like the idea here...

I tend to find that placing the main subject in the centre of a picture makes it feel isolated and satic.
The stalk on the diagonal sould add some strength to the composition, however this is slightly lost in the background as it has the same colour tones.

the basic image has a night time glow.feel to it, and you have managed to use all tonal range. Its a shame that there is evedence of the water/snow drops on the lens when you took this
