Hello Cindi

Please keep in mind that I'm not a trained professional ...

Seeing as this is an excellent photo I am left to pick nits.

Composition
This is a very nice composition. You have many nice lines and many nice triangles produced by the crop. I feel that the glass could have been a little more full of liquid, this would have helped to show off the rasberries more. Or maybe some (raspberry?) lipstick on rim to show that some of the martini had been imbibed. I'm normally "Glass is 1/2 full" type but in this case feel I'm asking where the rest of the martini went. The many bubbles are wonderful, you picked an excellent choice with raspberries, they do like to hold bubbles. I like the use of background hue similiar to the raspberries, it pulls the whole image together for me.

Technical / Post Processing
The focus is great. As others have pointed out there are two elements that take away from the image - the reflection on side of the glass and the bubbles on the top side of the glass (and maybe some dust), I won't belabor the point. I feel the contrast could be boosted just a tad.

Aesthetics
Extremely aesthetically pleasing.

Relevance to Challenge
This photo meets the challenge very well, I see bubbles!

Overall this is an exceptional photo.

You're very talented, I always look forward to seeing your work.

Nice shot. The focus is great. Nice lighting. Bokeh is nice in the background. The b/w (sepia?) is perfect for the subject. I wonder how a portrait crop would make this look. Nicely done Myra.

Hope Rita didn't make too much trouble for you.

Interesting, in a grimy photo sort of way. I mean that in a good way. Reminds me of a Raymond Chandler mystery, I don't know why.

Hello

Please keep in mind I'm not a trained professional ...

Composition
This is quite the interesting composition. The crop is nice, the placement of objects in relation to each other works very well. This is an excellent idea.

Technical Details
As has been noted by others the flash overpowered the shot, blowing out the ipod, causing a severe shadow, and underexposing the tree. What might have worked better would have been to set the ipod in line with the tree and take the photo from a short distance back and crop to desired size. This would have helped mute the onboard flash and given more control over the final image. Overall a longer exposure and no flash would have been a better combination. Focus seems a little off, pulling back some and cropping in post processing could have helped with that. Post processing could have eliminated noise visible in the ipod, but would not have been able to save the blow-out on the ipod.

Aesthetics
For me this photo is not aesthetically pleasing, this is due to the blowout on the ipod and the harsh shadow both of which were caused by the flash.

Relevance to Challenge
This photo meets the challenge wonderfully. You have used an interesting perspective to create a dramatic effect (one very large-looking ipod).

This is an excellent idea. Some pre-shot details (mainly no flash, moving back for more control then cropping) would have made this photo pop.

You had a wonderful idea for this challenge that shows a very creative eye.

I look forward to seeing your future entries!
