Great Blue Heronby BarronessComment: Love watching herons hunt/stalk for food. So stealthy and dedicated to their mission. This may be one of the blueist (sp?) herons I've seen. We get them at our pond once in a while, but it's darn near impossible to get close enough for a photo. Best place for us is at the river, where you can get a little closer. Not quite the intimate setting like this one though.
You could add an extender to that 200/2.8 and still get a fair amount of light. A 1.4x would give you 280/F4 (I think). Just a thought. |

The Garbage Bowlby Bear_MusicComment: I found this actually quite interesting. Could have been an Abstract outtake (don't know if in the timeline or not). Looks like fish skins and veggie trimmings? :-} |

Horse & Cattle Sepiaby C4PicturesComment: I enjoyed viewing this capture. Have a couple of rodeo shots over the years myself. You had a nice position for this. Like the post toning choice as well. One of my top picks ... thought it would break Top 10. ??? Sometimes you never know. |

Shattered by rozComment: Such a fun story! Thanks for sharing. Yeah, wild pigs you don't want to mess with! At first glance I thought this was a flip and blend, until I looked closer. One of my top picks for the challenge. Glad to see it did well. |

Tough Choiceby glad2badadComment: Thank you both (Don and Penny) for the nice comments. I had fun taking this photo. Was a good learning experience also working with an ND10 for the first time (ANOTHER challenge I bought something specifically for! LOL). But, I can see many uses for it in the future. |

Storm Coming by GolferDDSComment: I like this. Nice capture, details of the clouds. A little foreground is ok, so I'm not sure why you softened the trees so much. Makes it feel kinda like a composite (I understand it's not). Anyway, good luck! |
