Bass Harbor Light by NeilComment: Neil, I am just so impressed with this image, I cant tell you. Is it possible you could let me know which lens, at what length, what would the equivalent be in 35mm photography and is it straight from the camera, or what did you do to it?
I have not got a digital slr, and dont seem to be able to get this sort of result, but I would love to get a big print of this.
I note it is from a Canon 350d, and wondered how big you can go without pixellation
Congratulations - Well worth whatever good comments you got |

Cathedral Rock - Good Place to Get Some Thinkin' Doneby quark314Comment: Very nice indeed!
Traditionally framed print with the trees, but it works well. I use an 8080 wide, and am interested in trying to be a portrait photographer, but am nervous with people and not have head for buisiness. I will try and find out how you got into it, but admire much of what you have done.
The sky is so blue! A bit rare for England where I am, but love the scenery
Good luck for the future |

SteamboatBayPanoby jemisonComment: Very Nice!!
I am trying to do the same, and this is inspiring to me. I was fascinated to hear that you were able to print out at 13"x56", and wonder if you would tell me which printer you use, and how you got the paper.
I am going to look at your other pix, as you may be a good source of inspiration. Best of luck in your photography - I think you look well for much success

Staircaseby Keith ManiacComment: I prefer the other one, it seems more dynamic. Both are very good though. Which camera do you prefer - I noticed you have Canon and Olympus, and both are represented in your work? |

Lux Eternae by RgarciaComment: What a delightful image - beautifully lit. I think the post processing has added great impact. For me, I feel that the gravestones would benefit from a bit of contrast and cleaning up, as it seems that we are wallowing in a dirty environment, whereas hopefully we are in a heavenly environment after death. Thinking more deeply, the treatment has successfully contrasted the darkness of this world with the glory of the heavenly, shown by the brightness of the sun. I love the light rays, and would be most interested to see the first image as it was captured.
I am just buying a new digicam, and wonder if I should have bought one of these, as I am most impressed with the picture.
Every success to the photographer, who I am sure will go far
