Thanks for the great comments. There were a lot of raves and rants. Most of the rants did not see the depth of the photo. Composition was not an issue when I made this photo as it was more for the theme. One person commented on the picture making him think and that was cool. It is a NEW relationship and a new dorm too. It's also a new camera and a new photon light (just celebrated my bday). Last but not least, its my first submission on the site.

I hope to give beautiful photos in the weeks to come. Thanks all!

ps. this was one of many other "new" photos with the same lighting effect. I also had black backgrounds. they were boring, I liked this one the most as it added a lot of depth to the photo -- rather than a plain overcomposed photo, this seemed shot out of the blue.
