It is a beautiful shot. I think for DPC sakes, more post-processing would have really upped the score. I hope you don't mind, but I messed with it a little for fun. I am not great at post-processing. <---- Disclaimer. I desaturated the trees a bit, to give more focus to the barn. Who knows if it would have gotten a higher score or not! Either way, you have a nice shot.

I do like the scene, but don't care for the extreme sharpening. However, I do like it compared to the original. Makes no sense, huh? ;)

Honestly, the concept does not grab me. My first instinct was to say HUH? LOL I also don't care for the frame. I do like the slightly antiqued tone to the photo.

I do think it is too centered. I agree that the ripples are nice, so the centering works great right to left. Maybe if a little bit of the bottom was cropped it would have a little more punch.

I honestly wouldn't have known what this was without reading your description. I truly think this would have done much better if you could see the head. I really like the tone of this photo. The vignette is a nice, suttle touch as well.

I would have given this a 6-7. I LOVE the color and contrast, but the composition is slightly lacking. Maybe if it was shot so that the rocks came through the frame at an angle it would have improved it? Who knows :) The color really is gorgeous.

I really like the concept. I wish all the 'paint' was on the canvas and that the painter was in sharp focus. Would have gotten a higher score, IMO!

Beautiful! We almost took orders to Peru but decided against it. I hope you enjoyed your trip!!! I would crop some off the sky so that the sky takes up 1/3 of the image. :)

What a great shot to have for the family photo album! I don't mean that in the way that it is not a great photograph and only good for the family album either...LOL. Very cute and fun!

Stunning shot! The color in this is amazing. The two of you add to the shot as it gives a point of interest in the foreground. Nicely done!
