The reason it was so dark was that I was trying to get the tiny lines in the petals, but I think if I̢۪d given that up and just brightened it as you did, it would̢۪ve indeed scored better. Thanks again for reaching out and taking the time to make the changes. I do appreciate it!
I̢۪m still not quite used to Photoshop Elements but I̢۪m getting there. :). I also think the key is to preview the entry somewhere other than only my laptop.
