such a lovely composition, with rich earthy pieces. i feel that the whiteness of the background actually detracts from the picture, because it weakens the feel of the pottery and ironware. i would be interested in seeing the background in a different color, to add more visual weight and add to the earthiness of the piece.

The peppers in the background are an interesting choice...they add nice color.

like the cascade of beans from the cup. the picture has an overall feeling of being a bit overexposed, though, which washes out that nice rich color of the beans and the cup. i'd be interested in seeing richer colors.

i love this concept! every time i look at this photo, though, i want to reverse that rear left cup with the front left cup, so that the shorter one appears in front...guess it's my OCD peeking through! : )
