Life In Real Timeby lpatrickComment: "Huh?" was my first gut response, but what I mean is this image is too abstract for the challenge. All photography is an abstraction at some level but it is the photographic elements that gives the image direction and meaning in the viewers mind. The abstract portions are were the viewer interprets and derives there own meaning from the image. This image is gives me very little to no photographic content to guide my interpretation thus Iâm free to interpret it anyway my mind sees fit. It looks to me like a frequency histogram of some data set with the DC response to the left and high frequency response to the right and this seem out side the challenge frame work. |

Water by a Threadby jtf6agentComment: I think the photo would have been better with a much tighter crop, basically just the truck, the line of fire fighters and the smoky hill side. Of course this really wouldnât have met the challenge. I like the selective saturation. |

An Interrupted Decentby NforsbergComment: I like the how the cluttered blurry back ground keeps the eye moving but the focus on the impaled leaf is soft. |

zebra streetby guitarmaniacComment: Overall the image seems under exposed and I think the composition would be improved if the road only had one set of tracks. Though I realize that might not have been possible. |
