All Sweetness and Lightby RKTComment: My lowest rated image for this challenge. Without changing composition, here are a few things you could have done differently to have gotten a better score from me.
Focus - The only place that appears to be in focus is a small spot on the wall. Even if heavy bokeh is what you are going for, your subject (the lingerie) should be in sharp focus. It should stand out so that there is no doubt it is the subject of your photo.
Color - It's a bit flat. A quick adjustment to the contrast and the image would have a lot more pop to it.
Shutter speed - I suspect this was your number one problem. It is way too slow. A faster speed and the image would be less washed out and the details would be sharper.
Your composition is good. With a few tweaks to camera and a few nudges in post it has a lot of potential. Hope this feedback was helpful. |

Lilyby digifotojoComment: Absolutely stunning! The curves give the photo a very elegant ambiance. Perfect ratio of sharp detail vs. bokeh imho and your use of the light is spot on. One of my top three for this challenge! - 10. |

corridorby tnunComment: Excellent capture. The B7W really work, I am not sure I'd appreciate it as much in color. The high contrast and grainy texture are amazing. One of my top three for this challenge! - 10 |

Spike.jpgby jaxterComment: LOL, that was about as facing front as he got too. We are fortunate to have quite a few deer that roam around the neighborhood. Lots of forested areas and grass for them to feed on, half dead though it is since we need some rain. I saw a fawn yesterday that could not have been more than a month old... no camera on me of course. I was kind of surprised to see this spike. Most of the population that I see seems to be female. With fawns roaming about though, there has to be at least one big buck. I'll catch him sooner or later. ;o)

It's the memories you leave behind...by jaxterComment: Vantage point was a pier. I had my 75-300mm pretty much full open and the range was somewhere between 30-50 yards. I go up there quite frequently with the family. I'll get a good shot of the pier next time I'm out and get it in my portfolio. |
