I like the shallow DOF, it really adds to this photo. The subject has an intense look to him, which leads me as the viewer wanting to know the rest of the story; what is he looking at? is it something good or bad? And IMO that is a good thing, you are making the viewer get involved. Only slight detraction to the image is the intensity of the lights on the tree and that is minor. Well done.

Fantastic capture, great focus, I feel like I can see every individual feather seperately, love the reflection, only thing I would have preferred is to see the top of the head in the reflection too. Well done

Nice capture, love the details to the feather, especially on the wings. Good color and lighting. I would have preferred the picture to be longer instead of taller with more empty water in front of the bird, of course that is just my opinion and I don't know what you had to work with. Overall and great photo.
