Photobugby sganeyComment: Good pic. Might have been better if you could have pushed the DOF back a bit so the front of the lens cap was out of focus but the writing would be in focus. |

When Trucks Flyby BridogComment: I can't belive I did this well. I'm learning a lot here at DPC. After submitting I discovered the rule of thirds and did a much better job of cropping. Also ventured into Photoshop and used Auto Levels, contrast and color. This improved the shot very much. Thanks for all the advice. LinkMessage edited by author 2006-02-15 22:41:55. |

Night Burgby BridogComment: I'm very happy. I didn't know what I was doing but the pic came out OK. I see my error was a 1 second shutter speed with no tripod. I didn'e even realize that my shutter speed whas 1 second when i took the pic. It looks out of focus but i think I probably moved and blured it. I will retake this shot now that I have learned from everyone's helpfull comments.
Thank you all. |

Determinationby manic35Comment: I first gave you a 7 because I only had a 6, but I just can't sleep now. This is perfect. The motion panning is just a small part of this picture. The colors, the strength of a man, the determination. Perfect. Or are you that guy riding in a car. Ha Ha. |

Dartby cubixComment: First off, I barely qualify as an amature. But I am starting to realy enjoy this photo stuff. I'm gonna give this a 9. I suspect it is the perfect motion panning pic, but. Could this have been done by using Macro at high shutter speed on a dart with a distant obscure background that is out of focus. Maybe a differant background that showed the "panning" would have been better. Just wondering as I am egar to learn. Cool pic dude. |
