Always a dramatic view from that end of the Bridge. But rarely the best because the bridge pier is in deep shadow. The processing leaves the image with a rather harsh look.

No amount of frame can make a picture better. That occurs at the point of click. But, IMHO it can be distracting if there is too much frame, as is the case here.

A young head on old shoulders. It could have been an old head on young shoulders. But I think you did a fine job and the lighting and backdrop worked out very well. Make a good illustrative photo in a bio-genetics textbook.

Doing that twist technique unscrewed an element in my Canon 24-70 over time and the focus really got soft. I just had Canon recalibrate and tighten up a loose element in that lens ($123 plus shipping) and it is as sharp as ever again. But it is a good City Streets technique - though a bit haphazard in getting a good result. I like this one.
