Sometimes pays to just select a certain area in the image, feather the selection, and then sharpen slowly in increments to achieve a milder effect. Of sharpen on a separate layer, or sharper on the luminance channel only.... it's an interesting story. I think the better view would be from the inside.

City Lights

What I see out of my window every day. Not bad exposure. The bridge vibrates a lot as the cars go by, right? The bridge lights always turn green when on the tungsten setting. Odd. I like the city buildings are nicely exposed for the lighted windows - but what I miss is actually seeing some of the features of the buildings. I think if the sky was better blue at the magic hour this shot would have been more effective / attractive.
