Pretty neat building, and I like the perspective you've used. Just as an experiment, I took your photo, did a levels adjustment (INPUT 40 1.00 255), increased contrast & brightness a tad, and in channel mixer (mono) brought the blue channel down to -30%, and bumped up the red channel up to 112%. I also ran it through Neat Image to reduce the noise a little. I think you might like the result. It separates the building from the sky, and looks a little more dramatic.

I hope you don't mind me messing with your photo...I'll be sure to delete it from my computer.

Anni, great detail in the bee! I'm surprised that at 1/500 second shutter speed , you can see still a little bit of blur in the wings. Were you able to use auto focus on this, or did you use manual focus?

This is a really interesting photo. I'm not sure what to say about it technically, but I like the effect of the blurred falling water in front of your subject. Very nice.

I like both a lot. I think the B&W would be nicer if you ran it through NeatImage to remove some of the noise, expecially in the sky. I really like your composition...the ridge of the dune leads you right into the photo, and to the person. This would have been a great entry in the Rule Of Thirds challenge.
