Professional Catcher by LydiaComment: This is the umpteenth time I visited this pic since last year. Every time I miss my dog, I come here and am reminded of all the good things in life. Can't thank you enough for such a wonderfully uplifting and fun photo. |

The Roostby kenskidComment: The Sky is unreal! Wonderful lighting on the tree and birds too. Amazing. I would looooove to take a closer look at the topmost bird - the plumage is spread so magnificently - a close up of that alone might've got you into the top. Would've loved it had you used the full 800px allowed. |

Still Standing Proudby HeiSchComment: I vaguely remember seeing the same (or similar) scene before, but in Black & White. With color, there are way too many things in the picture to focus on, all competing for attention. Individually, I love the separated reflection of the lighthouse, the texture on the rocks, and the beautiful color gradient in the sky. |

Transitionby ScapeshotsComment: Wow! A sliver of peace and calm amidst turmoil above and below. Nicely done! Unique and different from the long exposure calmness sunrise shots. |

The Stage is Setby MaryOComment: Very unique setting, and a nice HDR treatment. Not too keen on the all-red tones, but it does impart a mood to the scene. Nice starry effect on the lights - you must've stopped down the aperture quite a bit. I would've preferred a more landscape aspect ratio to balance out the left and right though - otherwise the asymmetric composition is noticeable. |

Yellow Flameby mrjssimsComment: Love the minimalistic composition and beautiful complementary color combination. The aspect ratio is odd though - would've probably looked better in a portrait orientation rather than the squarish crop now. |

Jewelsby KarenNfldComment: Beautiful! The good old strings of pearls... I've tried a couple of times to capture this but haven't succeeded as well as this. Wouldn't mind an even closer crop of the patterns. As it is, I would've loved to see it at the full allowable size of 800px. |

Finding the way back homeby gpureticComment: What a nice street shot.. Love the sepia tones, the different textures on the walls and the street, and the lone kid silhouette. Very good eye!
The only thing bothering me is the aspect ratio - it's not a square/portrait/landscape, and that's immediately noticeable and distracting a little somehow. Maybe if you crop off the top half and make it a landscape it might work better? I can't make up my mind, just something to think about. Good luck. |

Dawn of the dead by Alex_PetriniComment: Oh wow! How in the world did you convince so many to pose for you as zombies? :)
Very very nice. Could actually be a movie poster! Wonderful lighting, minimalistic setting and fabulous silhouettes. Love it! |
