The splash of the wave seems to make it all look a bit crammed though. I would've liked it more without the splash. |

Ol' Truckby dhphotographyComment: The truck itself is fabulous and wonderfully contrasted against the foliage. The road right beside it is a wonderful setting - so near, yet so far for the truck. Nice enough HDR conversion - I would've cropped out the sky completely though - looks very unreal and distracting. |

Storm Riderby StagoleeComment: Took me a moment to find him :) A tiny sliver of a man against nature's ferocious display of power. The whole mood of the picture is dark and sinister - almost like an impending doom. Hope the surfer made it out okay :) Nice. |

One must've seen such balloon explosion shots before to make out that this is one I think, since the tell-tale sign of contracting balloon rubber is missing.
Leaving that hand in the pic is a nice touch... |
