Shades of Greenby kris11Comment: Wonderfully saturated colours and a fine composition. I can̢۪t make my mind up whether I like the border or not. |

The Emerald Forestby bvlindalouComment: The image seems very soft for some reason and I can̢۪t make my mind up why. It looks like it may be camera shake or perhaps the leaf moved a little during the exposure. If so a slightly faster shutter speed would have helped. |

Oh! What a Lovely Warby SteveDunsterComment: I think I would have liked this shot a lot if it weren̢۪t for all the lens flare. In some ways the lens flare is interesting and adds to the drama but I think it is just too much. When shooting towards the sun you could try shielding some of the glair on the lens with your hand. |

Terminatorby JucaComment: An unusual crop, which I like and a nice choice of frame. I̢۪m not to keen on all the stuff in the far background on the left, I just find it distracting. I like the right-hand background however and the lighting works well. |

Alien Bug Invasionby NuzzerComment: Maybe taking this image from a lower angle would have made the insects more menacing. I guess you would have to have them on the very edge of a table to get the camera any lower. Also the forward leg of the centre insect has been cropped off and it is those legs that are part of their menace. |

Somewhere in Timeby wtiradoComment: This seems to be somewhat out of focus. Focusing close-up shots is very tricky. Sometimes it is best to take several images and pick the one with best focus. A little sharpening in a photo editor would have helped but is no substitute for getting good focus in the first place. |
