The Emerald Poolby basicentryComment: Nice framing draws you in â€Â¦ come and take a dip. I think it’s just a tad overexposed though. |

Into The Secret Gardenby xXxscarletxXxComment: Wow what a stunner.
Right from the start something about this image bothered me – not that it was wrong or defective – just strange. Something made it unsettling, as it is clearly meant to be. Then it hit me – the background is sharper than the foreground – and it works! My eye constantly wants to focus on the sharp background but then sneaks back for another look at that face â€Â¦ Boo!
Great stuff. |

Ozby rblantonComment: Superb. It's gentle and soft in all the right places. I find it very relaxing. Nothing distracts, it's in perfect harmony. |

Martini Greenby scarbrdComment: A superbly crafted image! Tremendous impact.
I find the absence of an opposing thumb slightly disturbing (clearly I am easily disturbed) even though I know by logic that the image is correct and the thumb is simply too low to see. This is very trivial and only crept up on me after several seconds - but now it wont go away ... arrgghh. Where are my pills, I need to lay down. |

All Others Pale in Comparisonby dabidejpnComment: A wonderful image, pastel and serene.
Maybe the green dress placed two hangers further back would have made my eye work to find it. As it is my eye hits the green dress immediately and I then see the rest of the picture – the impact of the green dress is thus diminished as I do not see its uniqueness until to late. Then again - maybe not :) What do I know. |

Kiss Me by cheegirlComment: Love those eyes!
The blank background and offset subject are spot on. Only one thing spoils it and that is the halo, probably from USM around the eyelashes. I suspect the eyelashes don’t need to be so sharp – as it is they are fighting with the eyes for my attention and I know which one I would like to see win. If it wasn’t for that it would have been perfect to me. |

by BeeCeeComment: It's fun, it's green and it's meaningless - I like it.
Perhaps one facing the wrong way would have been amusing, for no apparent reason. Then again it may have just looked silly! |

Flying Saucerby KenComment: Dunno what it is but I like it.
Upside down, longish exposure image of water going down a plug hole (turns monitor upside down)?
Could do with more punch - a shade more contrast maybe? Not sure. |

The Ripple...by IreneMComment: Nice shot. Love the colours. I should imagine it took a lot of work to produce.
The lack of sharpness lets an otherwise superb image down. Is it motion blur or focus do you think? I think it may be focus, the ripple in the droplets shadow looks quite sharp – it still may be motion blur as that part of the image has the lowest velocity from the cameras view point. |
