4.30Am Surf Time CA Styleby JulietNNComment: This has to be lit by articial light. The moon was only 1% full on March 16, 2010 and didn't rise until 6:58am. Message edited by author 2010-03-24 16:39:45. |

The house around the cornerby pekeloComment: This was shot in RAW and edited quite extensively in CS3. I brightened the fire and darkened a lot of the stuff in the lower right. And I had to do a fair amount to the central figure and the thing on the spit to make it stand out better. There was too big a crowd for me to use a tripod so I suppose it could be classified as a snapshot. |

The Moth. by docpjvComment: Nice shot of a Clear-winged sphinx moth. Their flight looks a little like a hummingbird's. I've had a couple of chances to photograph these north of Montreal, Canada. I'm surprised you have them in Korea too. |

Ilulissat Fiord, Greenlandby pekeloComment: This was my first ever entry. I first submitted it too big and got the message to that effect. I reduced the size and resubmitted it too small but there isn't a message to tell me that. It was my silly error but I think there should be a "too small" message as well as a "too big" message for people like me.
And thank you for all the nice comments you sent me. |
