Civil War Eraby limerickComment: Very good! This is exactly what this challenge is about - I think. Not about old coins. I thought sharpness, very well defined detils may conflict with the idea, but not here. Yes, some well preserved coins do not convey oldeness even with date on them. This image does. Thanks. |

Before And Afterby vaarComment: Thank you everyone for comments - I find some good points in all your messages - though not all match my taste.
Interesting observation, smudgeSMJ :) You see, smoking has different dangers ;)
Rating clearly shows that my attempt to say something like "young become old when smoking" was not successful; for different reasons - both technical and aesthetical.
jeger, I was not trying to present cigarettes before and after. That's why hands are important :) But I appreciate your comment - it helps me anyway.
Happy New Year!

Moireby ravins4Comment: It's hard to not notice this image - very interesting from many points of view. I guess you show how straight lines can be bended and transformed. ? |

new cropby MotekComment: I like the idea of combining straight things of different nature. Rays unfortunately are not that "strong". |

Good Enough?by balancedfoxComment: This is one of the most original entries and I would love to see it rated high. However subject (sorry - main subject :) is so hard to present as a piece of art - that's where I struggle - trying to rate it properly. Maybe I'm too picky - forgive me. |

Architecture Abstractby pheonix676Comment: Over all architectural (excluding bridges) I like this best. Diagonal works well, pipe, and maybe that whole frame is filled with these lines. |

Raging Inferno by L2Comment: this is really impressive fire! I would have tried to include whole upper part of flames in front - similar to back side - don't know how high they go :) |

Mountains Aflameby PsychonauticalComment: On negative side - I hope it's not result of my uncalibrated monitor, but it looks more like white spot. On positive side - sky/clouds and overall picture has some "imressionistic" look though and I like that. |
