Goin' Home from the Marketby NikonJebComment: I reckon, in my humble opinion, that a challenge like this calls for a really defined subject with a really thrown-out background, or focus on a very specific, slim, area. The background just isn't far enough out of focus, and is full of quite a few distracting elements. So what you've got is a Shallow Depth of Field challenge asking you to isolate a subject, where you've placed in a shot with a depth of field covering maybe 7 or 8 yards. It's just not what folk expect, so you're missing the really easy mass appeal that will get you a high score. |
