Once I got it was a dog, I thought it was a great picture, but you don't want to aggrivate the viewer: you want to draw the viewer in. |

readmoreby SerGComment: I think I understand what you were going for here: focus and light on the book as primary character in this picture: but I think that a greater depth of field would have been great: more focu to let the light do the talking. I love the tones and palette in this though. |

the plumberby tateComment: This has a frightening undertone: is it the swirling dark water in the foreground? I feel panicky "standing" here in the water viewing the plumber who is on safer ground. Great use of lighting. |
