by MephistoComment: the cold comes across excellently here. the low contrast actually really works for this shot. |

Hina Dollsby Pug-HComment: this has almost a painted effect to it. especially the object on the left against the slightly out of focus and textured blue background. Interesting shot. |

Last Lightby sir_bazzComment: lovely, serene shot. i remember the first time I shot Velvia - and then proceeded to shoot little else for months afterward. the super-saturation/-contrast is still very addictive, and I love the colors you got above. funny how when I shot film, I generally kept looking for higher contrast/saturation, low grain films, and now that I predominately shoot digital I've fallen in love with low-contrast polaroids and chunky-grain black and white film. |

Laughing Clownsby sir_bazzComment: Great shot. Love the colors, but I think my favorite part of this is all the detail in the shadows. Very well done. |

Octopusby SteefComment: How can you not smile when you look at this?! Great colors, and the slight tilt adds to it, I think. Makes it seem even more like an action shot. |

by MephistoComment: Really nice happy accident. The combination of images has a very intended feel to it, even so. I'm sure you could drive a group of MFAs giddy analyzing your artistic intent and vision here. (Just don't mention that the film stopped spooling for bit, and turn them loose.) |

by MephistoComment: Those call boxes are distinctly odd - in a good way. The fog, the asphalt, and the unkempt foliage really give this a post-apocalyptic/Day of the Dead feel. I like it. |

by MephistoComment: I'm with Germaine - it is the guy just disappearing into the fog on the right that makes this shot. Adds a real sense of isolation and disconnection. Love, love, love fog. |
