Rain in Parisby pmottaComment: I'd suggest cropping this to exclude all of the foreground below the running figure's shadow and then above from the top of the archways (ie, level with the vertex of the diamonds), then to also exclude all of the poles & ropes to the right of the standing jacket wearer. I like the figure running from the jacketed individual to the group on the left. He is a nice action point when everyone else is standing around. Also the effect of the diagonal glass supports being reflected as vertical lines is well captured. |

The Pathby ElaineComment: This would have worked for me with the horizon level. |

a beautiful day at Gettyby mosaComment: This is a nice architectural study. The person is lost in the shot and doesn't add to it however. They are not involved with the viewer, and there is not storyline to them. |

Strungby RegoComment: It's strange, I think the band on the jersey is a stronger/better diagonal than the string, which detracts from the face. There is a hint of a diagonal in the shadow, which would have been nice to have originated from the shoulder. Subject has a good strong expression. |

Take Offby GatorguyComment: Very nice. Good colour transition in the background. Nice symmetry between first & last for wing positions, and then the grouping of 1 + 1 + 2, so that the second bird is slightly ahead of centre. |

Colorful Coloradoby bseifipourComment: I'm in two minds about this - the foreground is really strong (especially the contrast of the long diagonal of the perspective vs the support post with the strainer wire) , but setting the horizon on the bottom third does nothing for me. |
