I am a little confused as to what is going on here but it seems like a cool idea because I am guessing those aren't actually flowers and the bug is just confused? I think just using the clear ball and not having the out of focus one might help. The colors here are really beautiful though.

I really like the texture here. The really deep depth of field really makes the parts that are in focus really pop out. The purpleish background really bugs me though because the foot is in a sepia kind of color.

I like your idea here, I am just not completely blown away. There is so much light on the hands I would like to see it balanced with more light on the face. Another cool thing you could try would be to have a black sheet on the table since his shirt blends into the background so much to give the illusion that it is just hands and a face looking in a magnifying glass in space. haha I dunno just brainstorming.
