Iron Manby AliciaComment: I agree. Very alien feeling. I almost feel like Captain Kirk on a forbidden planet of stone people and one of them has just discovered me. Beam me up Scottie, please. |

Day-3.jpgby joynimComment: I discovered Flickr just a few days ago as well, but I didn't see that second texture which I'm going to try out. Love the treatment to your image and I catch the brightness of the sun when I look into it. Reality check - it's so real. |

In Redby nikolaosComment: I looked at this and must of messed up my original message which was - I liked your image without the scratches. I love the desaturation of this image and the use of one color. A technique I really want to try. Your overlay looked like splatteed paint and you could try softening it with the opacity control.
Just saw Joynim's submittal - two below yours and she has a link to a scratches texture she used. You should check it out.

Hollow Pointby DsealeComment: Bullet on the floor and dark moody color makes me think of a murder mystery. I like the subtle way you overlayed this for the concept. |

Teefby JutildaComment: Halloweenish. Freddy's just about to pick up his teeth as he exits to do some damage on Elm Street. Another shot that reminds me of film. |

downby ErinMComment: Gorgeous portrait and processing. I am really loving these dark, monotonish treatments. That layer is fanastic and I love knowing the processing details. I definitely want to try it. Thanks for the education. |

Day-03-TwoLipsShattered.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I like your mixture of two opposing structures. Great thought process. That abandoned building shot was probably a feast for glass textures. Hope you got some wonderful close ups of that. |

Tibute to Witkinby De SousaComment: Beautifully done. And that photographer lived in another world. Reminds me of the 1932 movie FREAKS. Dark and disturbing. Real extremes like that are not my cup of tea for an every day visual treat, but I can truly respect the artist, it's art and abnormal beauty. |
