hmmm.... How to vote this? I think it is a good idea, but it has some fundamental flaws for me. It obviously appeals to our patriotism (For those of us who are Americans) and it is certainly makes a statement. It seems to be a little lacking in originality and technically the photo has some issues (overexposure, lighting). I like the idea behind the photo. Change some things and fix the technical issues and this could be really moving, but as it is, I give it a 5.

Cute picture of a dog. the photo looks a little grainy to me, almost like the ISO was set too high.... Not bad, but I need more to make me say WOW.

Hmmm.... I just don't like the lighting much.. I also hate to say it, but the Tatoo on the arm takes away from the picture for me. The top right part of the photo feels empty. Cute kid though, and I am asking myself why.... :)

Cute :) I think that the photo is a little overexposed. I also do not like the feet at the top of the photo, or the backside at the right.. Cute though....

Cute, but it does look a little too staged (At least I hope it is). I also think there is too much clutter in the background, and the perspective of the background makes me dizzy. Maybe making the background a little less in focus would help.....

I like the bokeh. I like the facial expression. The photo does not WOW me though. Maybe the fence is a little too much clutter. Something in this just does not WOW me though. Maybe others will feel different. 7

haha, not bad, but the rain drops really distract from the photo for me. Get rid of them and change the title to something else and I might like it better.
