Fantastic sports capture!! Lighting is spot on - there is nothing I can suggest - great job! One of my favorite things about the photo is the player in the middle - his braids look cool and my oh my he is high off the ground!

She's precious! LIghting looks good here, there aren't any hotspots and the shadowing is just right.

Very neat! What I really like about this photo is the colors... that pops right out before I even look beyond that and see the huts. Good use of DOF, nice photo

This looks like a very serene place. The things that hurt it, for me, are the blue cast and the tilted pole. Others may like the composition with the tilted pole though... I think that's a personal preference. Using the poles as a reference, you do have a nice rule of thirds running here.

Am I in focus ?

I think this is an excellent subject matter. My criticism: the sunny area of the photo is pretty hot - seems a bit overexposed, however there is still plenty of detail left in the skin under the beak. I would also prefer to see either less of the beak and more of the head or the entire beak. Having said that, It is possible to have this much of the beak showing, but maybe with a different composition, possibly having him higher on the right frame bringing the eye down to the left while following the beak. I know you can't pose these critters though, amd waiting for the opportune shot could get long!

Had to know you would win this one Joey - you have the grain effect down pat - combined with your awesome photographic/creative skills you are a shoe in for the ribbon! :-) I think it's fantastic your parents are so supportive and will help you out with photos. Someday I'm going to see you in galleries!

This looks like a painting and it deserves to be framed, on a wall. Excellent! I expect to see this place top 10.

Very very interesting effect. There is something dark and moody that I really like about this image. Definately like the b/w treatment. I actually think the plug receptacle helps this shot as well. Very nice.
