Dangerous Designsby MaharetComment: I really like the concept, but the jewelry itself needs to be much sharper. I think this would score really well if everything was in focus. |

IMG_1215_webby FromDaRockComment: Unfortunately, as a spectator, the other side wasn't an available option. I was fortunate enough on the following day when my daughter was competing to get around to the other side since someone left a door to the outside open.
I only like this one for the display of muscle definition in the back and shoulders. This is in fact one of the coaches, as opposed to the young teen and preteen gymnasts. They had a masters division the night before my daughter competed. |

Scotman's Swordby CoryComment: That's a helluva looooong sword. Tied for my top picks in this challenge. |

Bank over the Canalby RyanWComment: Glad I could inspire you (at least I think it was me)!
I used to drive past this bridge every night for over 10 years, and I kept saying to myself, if they ever have all the lights working, I am going to have to get a picture. It was a long wait, but I got a few good shots that night. It is a very scenic spot, day or night.
I figured this was your's when I saw it. |

Driveby armando_mComment: Pretty impressive to get such a sharp interior for a 10 second shot. Nice job. |

The Picture of Dorian Gray by mrchhasComment: Originally posted by RyanW: My only real criticism here involves the picture - looking at the picture would cause him to lose all benefits gained from having it.
well lit and setup, giving a nice ethereal feel to the scene
a 6 from me, mostly because of the painting in his hands and uncovered |
That is actually incorrect, it might have been the case in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but was not the case in the actual book. He looked at it many times.
I guess you should have voted higher ;-)
Of course, if you want to look at inaccuracies, in the book he was younger (about 20) and blond as well, but either way, it is still a very good representation of the story. I think this is very well done. I really like how you represented his 'ugliness' in the painting. Message edited by author 2013-10-24 20:39:55. |

Fountain & Fountainby rboslemanComment: Nicely done, but I would have preferred a little faster shutter speed. The brightness is a little overpowering. |

the monster awakensby bacoviaComment: Pretty cool fountain. I like the shot, but I think this would have been better with either a faster or slower shutter speed. Either freeze the motion or get a stronger motion effect, whereas this is somewhere in between. |
