I'd just like to go on record as saying that this is a benchmark image, given the most recent DPC high score, and anyone who voted this 5 or less should seriously think about their own photography.

Excellent use of leading negative space and lovely blur. The subject is sharp in all the right places with some blur present to still convey movement and speed. Also great colour in his red shirt offset against the blue sky. Great stuff.

Love the perspective. Really gives that added sense of drama and perspective. Nice colours too in the late afternoon sun. One of my ribbon candidates.

Superb shot - my favourite of the lot. Original and fun, and technically well executed. Would have preferred it a touch brighter as it feels a shade or two underexposed, or maybe just a bit blue...but nevertheless it's still a brilliant shot.
