Bunker Bay Beachby dougi555Comment: Beautiful colours - I love the subtle lighting on and behind the rock. There's something about the foreground that I can't put my finger on...it might be those bubbles at the periphery. Did you try this shot on a long exposure to soften out the water at all? Great shot nonetheless. |

Between a Sharp Rock and a Soft Place: Lizard Head Rock, Rye by hotpastaComment: Outstanding photograph. This to me is a masterclass in texture and lighting! Everything from the sharpness of the foreground sand to the details of the rock look amazing, with light and texture changes all over the place. This is one of those photos I wish I'd taken :) The only thing I think that could improve this photo would have been a more interesting sky, but hey, just being nitpicky. |

Ruthby yankoComment: Gorgeous!! Her expression is great - so much better than a typical smile. I just love the tones in this shot, perfect to show the details of this lovely woman. I particularly love her 50s (?) style glasses which just add to the 'retro' feel of this image, and the lightness of her shirt which provides a lovely contrast with her face. Just brilliant. |

Visionsby wickee_oneComment: Such a beautiful shot - for me because of the layering and the elegant simplicity of the composition, especially the soft almost pastel colours. The twinkling of the lighthouse is the cherry on the top though and really makes the photo. The post processing gives me a painted/classic feel to it. Even the blown out highlights of the water makes a beautiful contrast with the moody skies above. Great stuff. |

Happy Momentby edmengComment: Perfect timing! The additional gull in the foreground is a real bonus too. The lighting, the expression and particularly the lighting through the great posture of the bird in flight are all fantastic. Great shot. |

Battle-Scarredby wsteynComment: Beautifully elegant shot. The black and white tones are perfect - plenty of detail and subtle. I think I'd have been tempted to go hard contrast and ruin it. Congratulations. This would look brilliant on anyone's wall. Perhaps a minor crop on the right hand to bring the tree closer to the 1/3rd line? |

The quiet night before a winter stormby william88Comment: Unreal colours! Love it - great shot with lovely sharpness in the rocks contrasted with the milky water. There's something in the way of the bridge that I can't work out, but there's nothing you could do about it. I hope this one ribbons because it's magical. |
