Don't Look Backby L1Comment: I think you softened this up a little too much. I don't get the same energy as I would if it had a bit more grain/noise to it. |

Young: How I see myself when I look in the mirror...by stupidcatComment: I had a *VERY* similiar idea, but I just.. couldin't.. figure out how to pull this off. Could you PM me with some details maybe? I'd like to do the shoot I had in mind armed with some knowledge of how to go about it. This is a fantastic idea, btw. (mine involves a skinny child seeing herself as fat in the mirror, a commentary on eating disorders and our society), and it's really well executed. Fabulous. |

Quebec Cityby darixComment: This should have made the top 3, and you didn't even hit top 20.. that's just robbery.. pure and simple.
A favorite, great shot. |

Check Markby connieComment: Not entirely a sihouette, but a little too much so to truly stay in the challenge description. A fill-in flash may have helped if it was powerful enough, or a reflector. Backlit shots on the water are really tough. |

Sunshineby FeesonicComment: I like this, with a few minor suggestions. I think a looser crop at the top of the head would have been a better idea. The pose is good, but the child's face lacks a certain emotion (this is tough though.. I know!). Other than that, it's a great backlighting shot, and a wonderful idea. |

Focusby lynnesiteComment: This is truly a gorgeous photograph. The backlighting works wonderfully well, the subject is dark, but details can still be seen (and I use a pretty dark monitor), and the pose is fantastic. The sepia tone was a great choice as well. Great job. |

Palm Effectby zulkefliComment: The lens flare in this photograph really detracts from the shot for me. Also, (even with my monitor brightness and contrast up), it's still far too silhouetted. |
