20 votes and a 4.3, 2 comments.. not so hot either ....to be honest im not so impressed with many of the images i've seen so far though, not that mine is that great haha

I agree, but there are some good ones too. This was a tough challenge. I am disappointed in my score though, although it is steadily rising. I was in the 3's for a while, which really confused me. I didn't think mine was that bad, I wish I would get some comments on why such low scores. I figured around 5ish. Oh well, what do I know?

Mine usually rose, but that's because they were always near the mendoza line to begin with. Most ratings seem to fall, I guess.

The trend is it usally hovers around your initial score usally .2 up or down

This is my second entry. I got killed on my first one with around a 3.3
This one is a 4.3 so far with zero comments. Those scores are probably about right for me. I am here to learn, and, admittedly have a lot to learn. I can't learn without any comments though. Is this place just about winning?

It seems that some people give killer low scores because they are afraid to give someone a high score and hurt themselves. How sad. I score the whole range, except I haven't given a 1 or a 10 yet. I have given a couple of nines, some eights, a lot of sevens and sixes. I don't see the point in skewing everything so low. I look at some pictures before I start scoring and then go from there. Certainly, there are many images that fall at least on the near side of good (over a five). It seems there are some petty people. This should be fun and educational. Sometimes it just seems everyone is just scared of letting anyone else do well. Too bad.

cant expect too many comments in the first few hours though. dont get down...most people here are pretty helpful but also honest with their comments, which is great. I think most people also vote honestly and not to protect themselves, their one vote really wouldn;t have to much of a chance of getting them a higher score anyways. I'm also here to learn, a great way is to read through some forums and just look at other people's pictures as well, especially the ones that do well. Comments are great but not the only way!
