I had to go with a submission I didn't really want because I got a lot of dust on my CCD..

I had a bad feeling bout mine but submitted it anywazs ...
gotta be in it, to win it - right?

im jst aiming not to get the brown :p

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I have a big "headstart" on you.

I don't update the scores at least until after the first hour -- they are largely irrelevant until you have 30 votes or so ... and I don't track mine vote-by-vote.

I think the comment came really early on, 3-4th vote. And I totally deserved it :) and I'll prolly get more of that same
If this continues on (from 3 in the beginning) I'll end up with 100+ score :)

im sitting around a 4.5 and i dont think its going to get any higher at this point...

so I've decided that i'll turn my scores off for the week, I'm really frustrated with 'the voters'...
From this day forward my goal is to take photos that I am happy and proud of. I will not try to appeal to voters to get a higher score, the score will be of only secondary importance to me. For now I'll sit out this weeks challenges to take a small break from DPC. Good luck to everybody!

Heh... makes me feel a bit better with my 4.3 :P
I went against my gut and submitted the image that other people picked... but I did not like. I should have posted this:

but I didn't, and it probably sucks compared to about the top 50% of photos, but oh well

I feel discouraged :/

good thing I have a cat that I can harass for the next challenge...

This is about where my broken entry is. I'm a bit disgusted because I think it is the best picture I have ever submitted and was hoping to beat my personal best of a 5.44. Thought this shot would at least get a 5.5. That's what I get for thinking, huh!
