If so, feel free to stop by #dslr on EFNet IRC. We generally avoid the Canon vs. Nikon type of talk and focus more on photography and helpful discussion instead.
(In case you don't know what IRC is, it's the "original" form of internet chat, before IM and all that. Still the best too! :) And EFNet is the oldest and larget network of servers. //www.mirc.com is the most popular Windows IRC client.)

I IRC, but over on Espernet, mainly in #sport, where the topic is rarely sports, suprisingly : )
I might stop in sometime |

| seems like all the servers i've been using last time i really irc'ed have disappeared :( |
