Hmm, I love the movie how about a challenge to go along with it. But with one stipulation, no photo's of rings. I would lve to see what people would come up with.
Anybody else a LOTR fan?

Are you currently watching it? It's currently on TNT.
Yes, love the movies. Never read the books.
Sounds interesting - I'd have to have some of my Rennie friends pose for me.
Or get permission to photograph a spot nearby that looks like a Hobbit hole!

| i think that would be cool...if done properly...i saw someone had scene renactments using character minitures (i think on this site)...it was quite good actually. |

Tonite i will get to see the Extended Return of the King. Had the discs for 2 weeks or so...can't get 4hrs and 10 minutes withouththe kids about - but with Santa's help TONITE i can watch it.
Been watching the appendices..they are never ending! One disk, if you go to the index, on page 1 has about 4 or 5 things...and the notation on on the screen is "Page 1 of 14"! 4 hours or more per CD, 3 cds...and then the 4+ hours movie has 3 seperate sound tracks...
For those that have it, check the bit about how they filmed the death of Denethor- a neat trick i plan on using here for a challenge. I bet if i do it right i get LOTS of DQ requests! All i nead it the right challenge!
i read the Hobbit, the frist book and 90% of the second book. One day i will finish it and the third book. The films do well as compared to the books. The appendices explain where and why they varied from the books.

I second the idea!
There has been a Matrix challenge and with the release of the new extended DVD it would be so cool and fun to do.
I've already taken many LOTR pictures with the toys I collect... :)
I have to wait until tomorrow (Christmas) to watch my extended DVD... :D
