Wow!
Congrats on some great scores here!
Make sure your tray tables and seat backs are in their upright positions,
as this one's gonna' be a bumpy ride, being as subjective as it is.
(couldn't spell either - drat!)

I quite liked this pic but alas I'm one of those that thought Bokeh was a interesting out-of-focus background and as such I don't have a blurry, sparkly background.

By the way, I accidentally shot this at ISO 1600!! And the 20D still produced nearly negligible noise. Am loving this digital camera... any PM guesses as to which slightly noisy image is mine?

Well, this has been a bumby ride. Started out with almost 6.3 after 40 votes, but have been going down ever since.

Bumpy ride is right!
Was at 6.9130 with 23 votes yesterday, and has been dropping ever since.
Now at 6.3150 with 127 votes, but 10 comments & 1 favorite now.
What I like best, is that it's a shot I really like for a change.

though i would like some more feedback. same happened in the last challenge. i ended with 5.03something but only had 3 comments, which makes it a bit difficult to adjust in the future.

The bumpiest middle of the field ride I've ever had :))
Started at a 5.2ish, up to the high of a 5.9 last night, now dropped back down to a 5.3983 (118 votes, 2 comments) Will see what happens overnight.

I guess I'm in the lower 10% of this one. I am definitely on a downward roll, and it sounds like time to take a break from DPC.

And my photo does show bokeh, but by the smooth background that makes the foreground pop definition. So I imagine many don't see the bokeh at all (it's too smooth). |
