Well...bedtime for me....heres the latest.

Tell me...does anyone else have this problem....I can't sleep very well at night because my computer is near my bed. I constantly wake up (probably 4-5 times) periodically during the night, turn on my monitor, and check the ol' rating! I can't help it. Anyone know any tips for a solid night sleep? :)))

You're gonna just have to sleep on the couch. Thank your lucky stars it's DPC addiction and not porn or online gambling. ;)

Have been as high as 6.79 last night, but fell a little this morning. I'm actually hopeful that I could be in that rarified air of ribbon country but don't wanna get my hopes up. Any >7.0s out there who are not sharing yet?

I was over seven but was inundated by trolls yesterday. Got down to 6.92 but starting to climb again. I still think it's a mistake somehow. :)

Thanks Owen, you're sitten' pretty there.

I'm realistic enough to know that I'm unlikely to ribbon, especially because I believe there are some seriously GOOD images in this challenge that will handily beat my little effort. I'll just be happy to finish in the >6.5 area for the first time in many months.

Thanks and good luck to you too!! Things can turn around easily. Last time I thought I had a chance of ribboning I ended up in 4th (not that that's so bad - I'm so used to being Mr. Average).

Things are going very well for me. Started out Monday morning with 7.0+, then slipped all the way down to 6.7 on Monday afternoon. Sitting at 7.1091 now.

well its been one heck of a ride so far. my score on a graph so far looks like a ping pong ball boucing down a hall way. It still shows no signs of settling down. However the only constant is that the night crowd likes it. My score manages to jump .2 points during the night and bounce around everywhere during the day. weeeeeeee.

I agree with you that the poor ones need the comments the most, but every time most of the time when I comment constructively to an image I rated low I get back messages arguing with me. Sad but true. So I make constructive criticism in the middle range, where more people seem to appreciate it. Not that I never comment to the poor ones, just that they are not my priority. The mid-rangers, by and large, seem to be trying harder and more willing to "learn"; they seem to value feeback highly.

I'm a low-to-mid-ranger myself so far, incidentally...

Ah well, my dreams of ending over six might not come true this challenge. The thing I think is funny is that voting just opened last night for Movie Titles and I already have 123 votes and 8 comments (all favorable!) in that challenge!! Strange voting patterns people have.... and hey, I might break 6 with my movie shot if things continue as they are.
